Dynamic Power Steering

DPS provides a computer-programmed, variable power assist that adjusts the amount of steering effort required according to speed, load and torque. This optimizes steering effort and improves handlebar comfort, even at very low speeds.

Multi-Function Gauge Cluster

The state-of-the art gauge provides a quick overview of all critical functions through user-friendly LCD and analogue displays which show key information with easy readability while riding. It is also home to the comprehensive diagnostic center.

Electronic Brake Distribution - (EBD)

Braking is activated using the right foot pedal, which distributes optimal hydraulic brake pressure to all three wheels' brake discs. EBD results in more precise and effective braking while minimizing vehicle nose-dive.

Gas tank access is securely located under the seat and is unlocked with the ignition key,

Rear Suspension

The Can-Am Spyder Roadster's rear suspension consists of a monoshock with an adjustable cam, linked to a traditional motorcycle-type swing arm. This configuration provides optimal riding comfort by giving the rider the option of adjusting the suspension to compensate for different load weights and types of road.

Exhaust System

The Can-Am Spyder Roadster's 2-into-1 exhaust system meets or surpasses today's most stringent environmental regulations including CARB, EPA and Euro2.

The Can-Am Spyder Roadster comes with a medium-size windshield as standard, providing both styling and protection. A customized look can be obtained with the optional sport or touring windshields.

Sport Touring Seating

The Can-Am Spyder Roadster is perfect for active riding as well as destination riding, so we designed a 1+1 sport touring seat that provides an ideal position for active riding and optimal comfort.

Front Suspension

Found in sports cars and luxury automobiles, double A-arm suspensions optimize wheel motion and steering effort while minimizing bump steer. The adjustable spring load on the rear ensures ideal damping characteristics while carrying a load.

Weatherproof Front Storage

The unique lockable weatherproof front storage compartment has 2,685 cu. in. (44 L) capacity. An optional travel bag insert provides plenty of extra storage for shopping, touring and destination riding while maintaining vehicle esthetics.

Lighting Package

Low- and high-beam headlights are standard. Daytime running lights are located on the front wheel. Optional fog lights add greater visibility.

Mirror-Mount Turn Signals

Self-canceling front turn signals are integrated in the mirrors, thereby increasing visibility and enhancing the Can-Am Spyder Roadster's look.

Belt Drive Transmission

The Can-Am Spyder Roadster's belt drive system is quiet, clean and efficient, with minimal maintenance required.

Parking Brake Pedal

The Can-Am Spyder Roadster is equipped with a convenient foot-activated parking brake, located on the left side of the vehicle. The brake is activated by pushing downwards and released by pushing down on it a second time.
